The Story of BOLT…
For super-dog BOLT (voice of JOHN TRAVOLTA), every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue, at least until the cameras stop rolling. When the star of a hit TV show is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, he begins his biggest adventure yet, a cross-country journey through the real world to get back to his owner and co-star, Penny (voice of MILEY CYRUS). Armed only with the delusions that all his amazing feats and powers are real, and the help of two unlikely traveling companions—a jaded, abandoned housecat named Mittens (voice of SUSIE ESSMAN) and a TV-obsessed hamster named Rhino (voice of MARK WALTON)—Bolt discovers he doesn't need superpowers to be a hero. Bolt (voiced by John Travolta) is an adorable white dog and the star of a superhero TV show in Hollywood. He understands the difference between right and wrong, but he doesn’t know the difference between TV and reality. When Bolt finds himself on opposite sides of the continent from his co-star Penny, he embarks upon a series of wonderful misadventures to reunite with her once more.
Rhino (voiced by Mark Walton) is a rambunctious TV-crazed, couch potato hamster. When Rhino meets up with his all-time favorite superhero Bolt, he joins his idol on the quest to save Penny from “the Green-Eyed Man.”
Mittens (voiced by Susie Essman) is a street-smart, sassy, and cynical alley cat. Her big city attitude is a sharp contrast to the naiveté and innocence of Bolt and Rhino. Bolt, the super dog, might just have met his match in Mittens.
Penny (voiced by Miley Cyrus) is Bolt’s costar, and the only family he has ever known. When Bolt is lost, Penny is reluctantly forced to work with a replacement dog. But no one can replace the real Bolt. Eventually, Penny and Bolt are reunited, along with his new friends Mittens and Rhino.
Dr. Calico “the Green-Eyed Man” (voiced by Malcolm McDowell) is Bolt’s superhero TV show arch-enemy who commands an army of evil cats.

Pigeons—New York “Mafia” and Hollywood “Agent” Types with their regional accents and attitudes provide an additional layer of fresh and unique comedy to Bolt’s cross-country adventures. They are one of the many comedic must-sees of this soon-to-be classic film.
